After watching something yesterday on YouTube — which ended up being pretty forgettable in the end — I managed to stumble onto Channel 4’s Fonejacker. As someone who grew up on stuff like The Jerky Boys, I ended up consuming every one of them I could get my grubby little mitts on. I think what I like about them more than anything else is that they’re updated to cover topics like 419 scammers, outsourced cold callers and voice activated help services. Seriously, if you watch nothing else on YouTube this week, at least give these a go.

I have all sorts of pretty videos loaded up on my iPhone in case I’m asked to demo it at all — like the Sony Bravia Ball Advert — but I’ve found that the most popular video seems to be the one I’ve got embedded above and gets loaded from my YouTube client. I guess humor wins out over pretty 9 times out of 10.

Snakes on a plane? That shit is straight up played out, yo. Zombies on a plane tho? Now that’s something I can get behind!
This trailer makes “Flight Of The Living Dead” (formerly “Plane Dead”) look so horrible that it might end up being hilarious. Fighter jets that are obviously models? Hello Ed Wood! Firing machine guns inside an airliner at 30,000 feet? Holy suspension of disbelief, Batman!
Honestly, if I didn’t love zombies and B movies and I saw this trailer, I’m pretty sure I would be out. So it’s a good thing that I do, I guess… ;)
I guess the burning question for me is, when in the hell is this coming out?

Flagpole Sitta

Having a sort of meh hump day? This lip dub of Flagpole Sitta should brighten things up for you a little bit. It’s honestly one of the better lip dubs I’ve seen in a while.
After showing it to a few coworkers, some of us are plotting our own crazy awesome DreamHost lip dub in response. I’m not sure if it can live up to this one, but I do know that we’d end up have a lot of fun trying.

Speaking of coworkers, my boy Nick P. sent me this little public access nugget over internal IM the other day. You should really know that it’s quite dirty for a lot of work and some home environments — if the title “vagina power” didn’t already tip you off, that is — but it is still very hilarious. You should definitely watch it when you have a minute.
