  • Ebony And Irony

You know what’s funny? Going to Flickr’s birthday party toting two cameras and realizing that you hadn’t taken a single photo.

Also keep in mind that going to the party is one of the reasons that I flew up for the weekend. *shrug* C’est la vie. At least I finally got to meet Heather in person and see a bunch of people I hadn’t seen in a good two to six months.

P.S. The highlight of my evening came from Stewart not only recognizing me, but also tilting my arm as he shook my hand to see “the infamous tattoo”. I guess I’m sort of a big deal… ;)

  • Oaktown

I made it to Click’s place in one piece. We ran around and got indian food, gelato and beers* in Berkeley.

Tomorrow we run around SF until Flickr’s Birthday Party at 7pm. Hopefully I’ll get to see Frazier for lunch.

If you want to see me while I’m in town [or will be at the party], drop me an email** or text on my Sidekick.

    * If you ever find yourself in the neighborhood, the Albatross Pub is higly recommended.

  • Choices

Man, I need to figure out how to pull off doing both Lebowski Fest West and BarCamp LA.

In fact, I almost feel like Jack Tripper did when he had a date with two hot girls on the same night. And while I know that was pretty much every other episode of Three’s Company, I’m still standing by my analogy.

Perhaps I’ll manage to have a weekend full of wacky misadventures where zany consequences will befall me. One can only hope.

  • SNA to OAK

Look out San Francisco, I’m headed straight for you… Well, actually since I’m staying over at Click’s place I guess I’ll offically be in Oakland.

*shrug* Let’s not worry about the technicalities, okay?

The only plans I’ve made so far is going to Flickr’s Birthday Party on Saturday night and hanging out with click for a bit over the weekend. Everything else is sort of nebulous.

So what am I getting at? Well, if any of you would like to hang out while I’m in town, drop me a line [or leave me a comment] and I’ll try to make some time for y’all.

Who knows… Maybe I’ll get to hang with some people I haven’t seen in a bit. At least I hope that’s what happens.

  • Rebel Rebel

“We learned something from the hippies that, unfortunately, the punks at the same time didn’t learn, and that is that rebellion is obsolete. In a healthy capitalistic world, rebellion is just something else to market.”

  • Fame

“The time of getting fame for your name on its own is over. Artwork that is only about wanting to be famous will never make you famous. Any fame is a by-product of making something that means something. You don’t go to a restaurant and order a meal because you want to have a shit.”

  • New Year, New Crush

You’ll have to pardon my lack of entries lately. I’ve been off fantasizing about Liz White from BBC’s Life On Mars. *swoon*
