The Fuckest Uppest
Apple just made my week by announcing that they’re opening their store in the Brea Mall this Saturday. Seeing as how I’m planning on attending the This Week In Tech taping at the Portable Media Expo later in the afternoon, it looks like I’m going to have a busy weekend.
Anyone want to come line up with me?

Guilty Pleasures
Friends might laugh or recoil in abject horror when you drunkenly admit that one of your guilty pleasures is Gilmore Girls – but the ones really worth keeping around dismiss your confession with, “Well, at least you’re not addicted to EastEnders…”
P.S. I know my geek cred totally went out the window by confessing this, but fuck it. My crush on Lauren Graham knows no boundaries.

How’s That For A Slice Of Fried Gold?
Oh. Fuck. Yes.
Underworld is apparently going to have new tracks available in their online shop sometime this week! This is quite possibly the best Monday I’ve had in at least a couple months.
I just hope whatever it is they’re selling is downloadable. Honestly, I don’t think that I can wait to get something shipped to me. And that’s sort of funny seeing as how I was doing fine before I read that there’d be new material dropping this week…
Update: It’s live! And as far as I’m concerned, it’s totally worth the £5.00.

Bittorrent Your iPod
So Podtropolis seems pretty neat. I mean, a torrent tracker for iPod ready audio and video content makes a whole bunch of sense to me.
Wonder how long it’ll stay up though… Maybe I’m just jaded, but this sort of thing seems destined to get cease and desisted in short order. *shrug* Time will tell, I guess.

It Weren’t Supposed To Be So Easy
I’ve been scrounging for the alternate cut of The Streets “Dry Your Eyes” featuring Chris Martin for some time now. And while I’m sure that I would have had it months ago if I made a habit of regularly reading Stereogum – or any other mp3 blog for that matter – I’m just happy to have found it on my own.
I’m not sure having Chris Martin on the track really adds anything to it, but I must admit that I rather like it. Even if it is the radio edit.
Anyhow, just thought I’d share the spoils of my hunt with the handful of people that actually manage to read this site. Perhaps you’ve been trying to get a hold of it too. Enjoy!
